Message	if your car is from Cali, it will give this error (annoying isn't it) but if you don't want that light to turn on first put the car in the ON position, all the lights on the dash and gauges move, let the chime go off a couple of times, this gives the ECU time to turn on, then start the car, no more engine light. The install should take you a day after fiddling with everything. The writeup is really well done and you should follow the pics from the writeup more than the installation manual (I think they got the harness backward in the manual)
